The beach of Noli — the wide beach of Noli on the bay, with the old town behind it

The sea at Noli is the kind that stays with you: clear water that shifts from turquoise to blue, a well-sheltered bay and a wide beach that runs along the seafront, right below the old town.

In 2026 Noli was awarded the Blue Flag for four bathing areas (Le Cave/Capo Noli, Vittoria, Anita and Chiariventi), confirming the quality of its waters. It also holds the Green Flag, the recognition given by Italian paediatricians to beaches that are ideal for children: a sandy and gravelly seabed that slopes gently, clean water and family-friendly services.

The Spiaggia dei Pescatori

The main beach is the Spiaggia dei Pescatori, in the heart of the old town: fine sand mixed with gravel and pebbles, the fishermen's boats pulled ashore and the medieval caruggi just behind. You go from a swim to the shade of an alley in a moment.

Free beach and lidos

Along the shore, stretches of free beach alternate with equipped lidos. The historic Baianita, founded in 1895, is among the oldest in Liguria; the Bagni Vittoria on the seafront offer a day nursery, babysitting, sailing courses and entertainment for the youngest guests. An umbrella with two loungers costs roughly between 25 and 50 euros a day, depending on the row.

When to go

From June to September for the full season; but the clear days of spring and autumn, with the old town quiet and the light low over the sea, are often the finest for a walk along the water's edge. For those looking for more secluded inlets, the coves of Capo Noli are a short walk away. And a little to the north, off Bergeggi, the Isola di Bergeggi and its Marine Protected Area offer crystal-clear water, ideal for snorkelling and for a trip by kayak or by boat.

From the hotel: the beach is just a few steps away. You step out of the historic centre and you are already on the seafront, towel under your arm.
